Reggae legend Bunny Wailer recently called Snoop Dogg out for engaging in in "outright fraudulent use of Rastafari Community's personalities and symbolism." So, Snoop opened up about the situation and the insight he gained from Bunny.

If it wasn`t for his weed addiction he wouldn`t care about it at all. Its a fake religion if these guys couldn`t constsntly feed thier constant need(addiction) to get high the "religion" wouldn`t exist .FACT!

I never respected this from the get. His heart is going in the right direction but he isn't fully commited to the way of life and the culture of Rasta. It's not all about smoking weed everday and good music. What breaks my heart is the fact I've heard recent songs from snoop that glorify's the his old ways and the nonesense that doesn't compliment the Rastafarian way of life. I grew up in it and was always mentored by Rasta's and I take that serious. You can't be making mixtapes still rapping about gangsta sh!t, half naked women in your little news parody's, and ignorance. Smoking weed, Listening to Bob Marley and Reggae music does NOT define Rastafarianism. Also, not all Rasta's have dreads or smoke WEED. Snoop may mean well, but what he does in the name of Rastafarianism is absolutely wrong...I'm proud that Bunny Wailer is defending what should be sacred and respected. Snoop or any of you kids, if you're going to do it do it right not because it's cool.
