Depsite the beef that's been carrying on between Cassidy and Meek Mill, the two rappers really were cool with one another at some point in their past. Cassidy has stated in recent weeks that he knew Meek back before he could even get his braids done and he meant it, as this footage from 2009 shows Cassidy in Meek's house while he's on house arrest freestyling off the top.

Times have changed, however, as both rappers have been engaged in an ongoing lyrical fued with one another. Meek dropped a diss track at Cassidy called "Repo," to which Cassidy responded with his own lengthy diss record, "R.A.I.D."

I respect the hustle & Im a fan of his music but Meek was never a boss in Philly. He was a pack boy that can rap.. Cass was a bitch that jumped off the porch a day before he got signed. Never was in the streets. Ever.. #Get$
