Mariah Carey spoke to Barbara Walters exclusively about the past issue she had with Nicki Minaj in which they got into a very heated verbal altercation on the set of American Idol. Since the incident, Mariah Carey has gone on to claim that Nicki Minaj threatened to shoot her, but Nicki denies the allegation, saying it was just a fabrication and slamming her on Twitter for the claims.
During her discussion with Barbara Walters, Mariah explained that even though she's being paid a hefty amount of money to be a judge on the show, she didn't want to take any risks with her life so she actually boosted up her security team after the dispute with Nicki.
The two have apparently laid the issues to rest. Let's see if the peace holds up when the show airs and they film live episodes.
