Charles Barkley Makes Slavery Joke On TNT Halftime Show

Charles Barkley typically speaks without thinking, making quite a bit of his commentary hysterical. Though, the downside of his uncensored nature is the possibility for controversy, since Barkley is prone to say something outlandish at any time. On Thursday night, when Kenny asked Chuck who his favorite president was, the answer ended up making Ernie Johnson feel very uncomfortable.
"I love President Obama, but Abe Lincoln is my new favorite president," said Barkley in reference to the new movie. "You know why? Because if it weren't for him, we'd be calling Ernie 'boss.'"
Ernie tried to dodge the joke while Kenny and Shaq laughed, but Shaq kept the joke going by immediately calling Ernie boss. Like always, some found the joke to be hilarious, and others found it to be distasteful.
