Ab-Soul Explains Jabs At Jay-Z And Nas On "Illuminate" Track

Hip Hop fans were a little surprised when TDE rapper Ab-Soul took some jabs at Jay-Z and Nas on his song "iLLuminate," but Soul insists the lines off his "Control System" album were not in poor taste.
The rhymes in question go, "I used to wanna rap like Jay-Z/ Now I feel I could run laps around Jay-Z/ Nas ain't even seen nothing this nasty/ B.I.G. & Pac got it coming when I pass too."
In the interview with "Life+Times," Ab-Soul explains that he was actually just sending shots at his favorite legends in the game, in a sort of affectionate way.
