Republican Mike Huckabee says the Newtown school shooting happened because there is a lack of religion in schools.

Scientific positivism is a dead philosophy. The fact that public schools continue to present science and atheistic methodological naturalism as the "be-all and end-all" of knowledge is deceitful and quite dishonest. Until there is a fair and balanced view of history, philosophy and religion in public schools, the negative aspects of secular humanism and atheism being taught by default will continue to negatively affect society on many levels.

I don't think Religion have do with the kill of little chidren or kill of people. Very unfortunate that most of the lost of is US this a very nice place the are getting too much and it be the right time for the Rulers to find a very good solution for such habit of kill people.

There have been SEVERAL church shootings in the past couple years. Would republicans blame those shootings on lack of prayer? I think not. Prayer was never taken out of schools. Anyone can pray in school at anytime they would like, as God instructed us to, In PRIVATE. I have a hard time believing that the God I serve would take vengeance on a bunch of 6 year olds because of a policy that implemented to separate church and state.

from the removal of prayers in schools to the separation of church and state to many other examples i could name...America has and continues to tell God to stay out of her business. The result is the calamities and woes we experience today. Most of you who will read this are probably too young to remember a time of love and community, when God was at the core of everything. But then the doubters and unbelievers had to be appeased so to speak and those weak in faith have now become fearful of scorn and redicule so they dont speak out....the further we get away from God, the worse it will get. Disbelief doesn't make it a lie...truth needs no support.

Wow u know y they sayin that is to cover up. The real facts see republicans support gun rights so to cover it they use God as the reason like. There's never been Religious teachings in schools. People today are just fucking crazy that's all. It has nothing to do with religion.
