50 Cent recently sat down for an interview with Big Boy at Power 106, and explained why "New Day" ft. Alicia Keys and Dr. Dre was pushed for his first single. According to 50, Alicia Keys had a lot to do with it. He also goes over some tracks he's passed on, and his theory on why he's caught so much criticism from fans for his recent work.

also these morons should have seen it coming, since 50 is bout to be done wit his interscope deal, they are def. trying to put an end to "three headed monster" if you could even call those elderly people that anymore....a lot of these songs will still be called hits just like "crack a bottle" was a hit lmfao...they pushing chief keef now who they lie about his age every chance they get, if they could they would say he 16, its just ironic how interscope is pushing an artist like kendrick lamar and at the same time, an artist like chief keef, just what exactly are their intentions, like what you choose what you would rather listen to, or you go along with what everyone else is listening to when you're an impressionable kid..

How you gon have a Dre beat with him spitting on it plus A.Keys singing the hook and still flop?? Those are the elements to a guaranteed hit record,my grandma would have a hit with just A.keys on the hook. Jay-Z ft A.keys - Empire state of mind = number 1 smash hit so he tried to copy and look what happened. It's a wrap for dude,he needs to stop finding excuses and focus on his fake beats by Dre headphones and them low budget straight to dvd flicks.
