Kendrick Lamar Crowned "Rookie Of The Year"

2012 has been a booming year for Kendrick Lamar as he's been awarded with the Lyricist of the Year Award already, and now he's been crowned with the prestigious title of "Rookie of the Year" by The Source magazine. The Source also conducted an interview with Kendrick to help promote his feature as Rookie of the Year in their magazine. Check it out above.

Why is he rookie of the year? Joey Bada$$, Chief keef, and Trinidad James are all adequate choices for rookie of the year. Kendrick came out a minute ago, dropped a album for download a year ago and was on the XXL freshmen cover of 2011. Not a rookie!

its all the work of his major label,, the lyricist of the year award was bought, the rookie of the year, the hype, its all work of a major label,, he is not doing any thing out of this world with his music, anyone that listens to HIP HOP outside of mainstream, radio, tv, knows there is alot of great HIP HOP music out there that is not mainstream, this is being sold to casual rap fans that buy what is programmed to them by major media,, the guy is not a bad rapper, but he is a avaerage rapper nothing great ,,
