The West Coast freestyle cypher at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards was one of the more anticipated acts of the awards show. It featured rap veterans such as Snoop Lion, Xzibit, E-40, and DJ Premier. Rap newcomers Kendrick Lamar and YG were also on hand to let their voices be heard.
