Though his debut album "Asleep In The Bread Aisle" was relatively successful, Asher Roth has had a tough time transitioning to his sophomore effort. To his credit, major label life has not treated Roth very kindly, and he refuses to sacrifice creative control. Asher sat down with Sway on Shade 45, and tried to explain his predicament.

"There's no rules. I've always broken my records on the internet and I've always used it to my advantage," Roth explained, clearly frustrated. "So it's hard for someone to tell me, 'no, no, no, wait' because the internet waits for nobody."
