When "La La La" dropped, the first single off of Snoop Dogg's reggae release, the hip hop community wasn't sure how to feel. It's hard to imagine Snoop as anything other than the legendary crip walkin', pimp talkin' Long Beach rapper he's always been. Thanks to Vice Films, the story explaining Snoop's foray into reggae will be fully told in a documentary called "Reincarnated" at this year's Toronto Film Festival.

"Reincarnated" captures the deeper meaning behind Snoop's decision to record a reggae album--a desire to rise above and beyond the rap songs that have immortalized him. A recent trip to Jamaica opened up Snoop's eyes to a culture he has been looking for, and he isn't just interested in the ganja.
