NYPD Cop Busted for Stealing Guns & Selling Them From Precinct

31-year-old Nicholas Mina started his week as an officer in the NYPD. He ended his week charged conspiracy, grand larceny, sale of a firearm and drug conspiracy charges.

According to authorities, Mina and four other accomplices trafficked at least 10 guns over a two-month period. Mina was part of a 24-hour security detail and had been assigned to guard lockers after a series of thefts that included bulletproof vests, cash, an iPad and weapons.

Mina was arrested following an investigation by the NYPD Firearms Suppression Unit, Internal Affairs Bureau and Manhattan District Attorney's office. He has confessed to stealing the guns to support his drug habit.

We want to believe that all our police officers and good moral people, and that is why their word most of the time is taken oven a regular citizen in court. But we have to realize that they are humans too, and they have feelings of hate, jealousy, fear, deception...etc. They deff need to take their time training and have a very strict disciplinary action taken against those who not uphold the law and feel like they are above them.
