Is homophobia dying in hip hop? In his new video for the song "Animal Style", rapper Murs kisses another man amid the story of a homosexual relationship. It's the second instance in recent weeks that homosexuality has been a major hip hop talking point. Odd Future crooner Frank Ocean came out as a bi man, and his album has done exceptionally well.
"Thanks for all the positive energy and love shown for the new video ya'll," Murs tweeted.
The response to Murs' video has been mostly positive, and he is pleased that people are accepting his gay rights message.
