Lil Wayne, Tyga and the YMCMB family met up with Chris Brown and Gucci Mane to toast Birdman's birthday at "LIV on Sundays" in Miami.

Weezy was decked out in his infamous animal print jeggings, as he hit the decks to pump the crowd up, while Tyga clutched a bottle of Ace of Spades to celebrate the drop of his Careless World: Rise of the Last King album. Overall it looked like everyone was making the most of their time in the club.

While leaving her hotel in London yesterday on her 24th birthday, Rihanna got a little parting gift from a female fan.  Instead of a cake, a nice bracelet, or even a scarf, the fan felt the best way to show her affection for Rihanna was by copping a feel.  Or at least attempting to anyway.

Max Bretos, an anchor for ESPN, has been suspended following the uproar over his insensitive comments about Jeremy Lin's 7-game winning streak coming to an end. However, Bretos explained that his wife is Asian and he would "never intentionally say anything to disrespect her and that community."

Bretos explained via Twitter that the title was "Not done with any racial reference. Despite intention, phrase was inappropriate in this context."

The writer for ESPN, who used the same phrase in a headline on ESPN's mobile site was fired, while Bretos was given a 30 day suspension.

Kreayshawn's Gucci Gucci, was a huge hit, going viral in a short period of time, but now comes the test to see whether or not this West Coast rapper will fall under the category of "one-hit-wonder" or not.

During a recent interview, Kreay made some interesting comments on her predictions for her album, and her "back up" plans if things don't go the way she hopes.

"If the album doesn't have a hit, I don't care. I'm mobbin.' I'm mobbin' real hard. If something goes wrong, I'll just take all my money and sell hella drugs. Then make a song about that. Then I'll have another hit.  After a brief pause she added, "I'm just playing. Kinda."

Can this "I don't care" statement be a small sign of lack of confidence in her upcoming album, or just Kreay being Kreay, cool, calm, and collected as usual?

When will these rappers learn?

If you've made hit music at least once in your life, and your face has been on TV screens world-wide because of your music, then it's not a good idea to drive a stolen vehicle.  And it's certainly not a good idea to drive a stolen vehicle with three firearms inside of it.  

New Orleans rapper B.G., legally known as Christopher Dorsey, didn't listen to these simple words of wisdom. To add to the already grim facts piled up against Dorsey, two out of the three guns were stolen, and he is being additionally charged with witness tampering. 

Dorsey was scheduled to be sentenced on March 14th of this year, however prosecutors are trying to get his sentencing date pushed back because they have allegedly received new information about Dorsey from federal prosecutors in Southern Illinois.  There has been no confirmation on what this information is.

The New Orleans rapper is already a convicted felon and his "gangster" image portrayed in his music and music videos is not going to help his current case.  No plea deal has been established just yet, and if convicted he could serve 8-10 years.

For Dorsey's sake, he better have the funds necessary to make sure his lawyer does everything in his power to help reduce the sentence.

Terrence Howard was a hot name on the film market for a while.  Doing film after film for a few years, it seemed as though nothing would be able to stop this actor from rising to the top.

That is, until allegations made by his wife have slowed his progress substantially.

Michelle Howard, has accused Terrence of repeatedly abusing her physically.  She described one beating where he smacked her across her face and chipped her tooth with his wedding ring.  On top of that she claims he has threatened to throw her off of a balcony.  The two are currently in the process of a divorce.  

Terrence has since denied these claims, but feels as though the image of being a "woman beater" portrayed by his wife, has done some irreparable damage to his career.

"I am gravely concerned that her actions have had an incredibly negative effect on my career and my ability to obtain future work as an actor."

Who knows, Terrence?  if Chris Brown could bounce back from beating his beautiful ex-girlfriend Rihanna into the hospital, to win a Grammy and have females willing to let him "beat them up" as many have tweeted, maybe there is hope for your image being repaired as well.

Gender Identity Disorder (GID) has become far more frequent over the years, and those who experience it just keep getting younger and younger.  In the UK, a 5-year-old boy by the name of Zach Avery is one of the youngest children to be affected by the psychological disorder.  Zack, now formerly known as Zachy, was as young as 3 when he knew for certain that he was a girl at heart.  

Zachy's mother Theresa Avery recalls the day when he first announced to her that he was no longer a boy: 

"He just turned round to me one day when he was three and said: 'Mummy, I'm a girl'. I assumed he was just going through a phase and just left it at that. But then it got serious and he would become upset if anyone referred to him as a boy. He used to cry and try to cut off his willy out of frustration."

Zachy's official diagnosis came last year at the age of four.  He has since changed his appearance from a boyish one to that of a young girl.  He can often be seen wearing his long blond hair in pigtails, pink skirts and sweaters, purple tutu's and other feminine attire.  

His school has been very supportive of Zachy's peculiar case.  They have changed the bathroom signs to that of "Unisex" rather than have them labeled "Boy" "Girl", to make him feel more comfortable.  All of his classmates have accepted him as he is, just their friend Zach.  

It would be nice if the rest of the world could take from this elementary example and just accept people for who they are and not resort to bullying just because a person is different.

One of the contributing producers to Nicki Minaj's upcoming sophomore LP Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded recently revealed the title of three records he contributed to the album.

Producer Dr. Luke named three records via Twitter, although it is unknown whether all three will make the final cut.

Fellow producer RedOne also recently opened up to Billboard about several records he got behind on Ms. Minaj's album:

"It's four songs we did," Red said in an interview. "The tracks that I've worked with on Nicki Minaj are amazing, incredible. To be honest, I am so happy and excited for what people are going to think. She's an incredible artist, very inspiring. A character, a beautiful person, it's all in one."

Rapper Kurupt recently sat down for an interview with Cam Capone to discuss his upcoming projects - working with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dog.  For DPG's next album, Alumni, the production of the album will be overseen by Dr. Dre and guided by Snoop. Kurupt spoke about the influence of Dre and Snoop on the album's production.

"Dr. Dre's gonna oversee things to make sure it sounds good and is tight.  Snoop's gonna basically put it together with me and Daz."

Kurupt added a few words of praise for Dre's assistance on the album: "He keeps you inspired and keeps you focused."

The album has no current release date, nor do they have a predicted date for its release so fans, sit tight and be patient, as this new album from DPG is surely going to be worth the wait.

Jay-Z's Roc Nation management team has just taken new steps towards expanding its empire by signing its newest talent, Latin superstar, Shakira.  Shakira's resume alone is enough to indicate that this signing should be a major boost for her as an artist and The Roc as a unit. 

Shakira has sold over 60 million albums worldwide, won 12 Billboard Latin Music Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards, and two Grammys.  That's just the facts on paper. 

Just imagine her strong and soothing voice teaming up with the likes of Rihanna.  Now, if you throw some of that mind blowing belly dancing into the mix from both ladies...oh man...words can't describe how much of an instant hit that would be.

Common and Q-Tip seem to be adding to their super group, "The Standard," as talks surface of Nas joining the two to collaborate on a new project. Wednesday's edition of the New York Daily News broke the news, saying that Nas was extremely interested in joining the group.

Q-Tip was instrumental in getting Nas exposure, producing Nas' track "One Love," off his seminal debut LP, Illmatic, along with "The World is Yours (remix)." Since then Nas took part in producing the A Tribe Called Quest documentary, Beats Rhymes and Life.

Common also recently worked with Nas on his track "Ghetto Dreams," off his latest album, The Dreamer, The Believer. The two also linked up on Hi-Tek's "Music for Life" and Jadakiss's "Why (Remix)."

Since coming togeher in 2007 "The Standard" have yet to put out any tracks, but that doesn't mean that these three can't put out something to change the game.

Over the past couple of years Janet Hubert, who played "Aunt Viv" on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, has been outspoken about many things in her career, and as an actress she felt it was necessary to come at Wendy Williams for acting broken up about Whitney Houston's death.

Janet wrote an open letter to Wendy about her comments over the years on Wendy's death and how disappointed she was.

Janet also pointed out that the morning following Whitney's funeral Wendy went on air and made "rude comments about Janet Jackson."

"A sister, a mother, a daughter, a star, left this world way too early; she was loved by the world. The world mourned, I don't think that we needed you to try and take down another brilliant sister on that following Monday morning. (Your rude comments about Janet Jackson). You started right back up without hesitation or pause... you need to stop Wendy. We need to stop, and the world needs to stop. I need to stop as well. There will be no more quotes from me to be misquoted. We need to join together, wrap our arms around our children, everybody's children. People, people, people...you must always remember to check your bags before you go to the airport!  Security is so tight these days, there's little chance that you'll get anything past them. 

Last week Strap, member of Travis Porter, learned this lesson the hard way. He was arrested at an airport in Atlanta for having possession of a firearm in his bag while being checked by security.

His fellow band members Quez and Ali spoke with VIBE hours later about what happened.

VIBE: I know you guys can't really talk about Strap's legal situation, but what was your initial reaction to hearing that he got arrested.

Travis Porter: We was with him.

Oh, you guys were altogether?

Quez: Yeah, it was just crazy. He made a mistake. He didn't look in his bag, and he left the studio and went straight to the airport to get on his flight. And you should've seen his face. He was like 'what's going on?' They was like 'Yeah we need him over there.' And he's like, 'man, whats going on?' I don't even know what's going on. He had no idea the joint was in the bag.

Ali: Actually he is on the plane to New York right now. We have a show tomorrow.

Lil Wayne ended up doing 8 months in Riker's Island for having a firearm on his tour bus.  Let's hope Strap can find a way out of serving a jail sentence for this one.

For some reason Whitney Houston's passing has been met with a lot more heartlessness than would be expected.  Yes she had substance abuse problems, but she was still one of the greatest singers of all time and her contributions to the world through her music should never, and will never be forgotten. 

With that said, it is a shame that so many people in this world just don't seem to have the proper level of compassion towards her family and those close to her, after her death.  Recently, radio hosts John and Ken of the "John and Ken Show", have been suspended from their broadcasts due tot the insensitivity that they expressed about Whitney Houston.  This time it is the Chicago radio station, WGCI, that has shown its cruelty.

This past Tuesday (Feb. 21st), WGCI did a spoof broadcast with an impersonator pretending to be Ray J.  The spoof poked fun at Ray J and the impersonator portrayed Ray J as being very nonchalant about Whitney's death. 

Ray J, who was a close friend and reported love interest of Whitney Houston, is obviously not happy.  A friend of Ray J's told BOSSIP during a recent interview, ""He's having a very difficult time dealing with Whitney's death.  He's not even doing interviews right now because he's not in the right place for that. He has a book "Death Of A Cheating Man" that just came out on Valentine's Day and he's not even promoting that right now. It was an incredibly insensitive thing to do."

During the radio broadcast the impersonator addressed Ray J's breakdown at the airport, along with Bobby Brown's issues with security and made jokes about Ray J's songs compared to Bobby Browns. 

On the airport breakdown: "I mean a lot of people gonna try to make it seem like I broke down in the airport about Whitney, man, but I swear to God I had lost my sister's car key and I know how she feels about that. So I knew with everything that's going on and just to lose this car key would put everything over the top." On Bobby Brown and the funeral drama: "Before we even get into that, let me ask you a question. What song is doper, "Every Little Step I Take" or 'Sexy Can I?'" He continued, "One Wish was a greater song than Bobby, and I wasn't tripping on the seats I had. My family was there just to support Whitney and support her family my sister was there, my mom, my dad. And this man is going to get mad because he can't move a seat closer to his daughter?"

If Ray J does seek legal action against them, he has every right to do so.  This kind of behavior simply cannot be tolerated.

Four years ago there was talks of Bobby Brown writing a tell-all book about Whitney Houston, which was never published, but since her death the talks of the book have been resurrected.

A major publisher who was tapped for the book spoke out about it, saying "Back in 2008, the interest in a book on Whitney Houston wasn't that great. Whitney had fallen off the radar back then ... but now, following her tragic death, the market has changed. Now is the time for a book that details an honest look into the life of Whitney."

One major for Bobby standing in the way of the deal is the confidentiality agreement he signed during their 2007 divorce, along with the effects it would have on his daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

While Brown's former attorney Phaedra Parks says Bobby "would do anything to protect all his children," friends of Whitney aren't so sure of that.

"This is a man who left his ex-wife's funeral because he didn't like his seats and went to a paying gig that night. He didn't get on stage that night because he needed to sing his greatest hits or because Whitney would have wanted him to entertain his fans, he did it to get a paycheck -- the same reason he now wants to write a tell-all book."

Erving "Magic" Johnson has set his sights on a new venture, a 24-hour cable channel called "Aspire," which he says will be geared toward black viewers.

Magic plans to showcase positive, uplifting images of African Americans and offer opportunities for blacks who have struggled to find work in mainstream Hollywood. The channel will focus on producing shows about music, comedy, performing arts and programs about faith.

Magic, who partnered with Comcast to create the channel, is set to launch the network on June 30.

During his time in the spotlight as a highly respected singer for 112, Slim understands what it's like to travel on the path to the top.  Rising to fame with everyone watching isn't an easy journey, and often brings about just as much if not more hatred from the public.  When asked about his thoughts on Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose, and Drake, and the criticisms that they are constantly subjected to by the public, he had some very encouraging and supportive words for the young celebrities.  

"When you have people like an Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian or whatever, I look at it like this; in this day and age, you have to grow with what's going on.  You have people out there that are trying to touch every aspect of entertainment there is. For that right there, I can't knock them. At the end of the day, they're touching their dream. I look at it like, the sky is the limit. Go for it. You have people that probably told Drake, 'No, you can't sing 'and' rap.' I followed him through his mixtapes -- I find it very amazing that somebody from Toronto can come down and really embrace the Texas-feel of music and do a really good job at it. He mixed the style of where he's from and what he's going through, and really took it to a whole 'nother field. I can't knock it. As long as you believe in what you're doing, then the sky is the limit."

In an almost unbelievable story, two Florida teen girls posted a racist rant on Youtube only to later be expelled from the school and forced to apologize. Click past the break for the video. We obviously are as shocked as you are from this. 

Lincoln Brown, a 48-year-old Chicago Public Schools teacher, has filed a federal lawsuit against his district after being suspended for using the "n-word" in a class on racism. 

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the incident happened last October after Brown found two students sending notes back and forth with rap lyrics. He found the moment "teachable" and proceeded to use the word in the context of the book Huckleberry Finn, showing how language can hurt. For better or worse, the principal walked in right at that moment and found the lesson shocking and cruel.

Pop sensation Rihanna, was recently mobbed by adoring fans and paparazzi in London, England as she made her way from her hotel to the 2012 Brit Awards.

It is with a heavy heart we report this story. 

In Cleveland OH, a 19-year-old woman, her former boyfriend and her 12-month-old daughter were found dead outside of a garage this morning. 

12 hours after police issued an Amber Alert, soliciting the public to help find the missing Mom and daughter, the unfortunate discovery was made. 

According to reports, they were fatally shot by the attacker, Thomas Lorde, 35, who was also a registered sex offender in NY.

Lorde approached Latasha Jackson and her daughter Chaniya Wynn wielding a handgun and told her little brother to "get walking." He proceeded to kill the two girls and then himself after rounding the corner. 

Police commented that Jackson had been trying to end the relationship with Lorde for two months.
