Thieves ripped a safe from the wall of a hotel room near the Cannes Film Festival and made off with around $1 million worth of jewelry, in a brazen late-night burglary, French officials said Friday.

New York Knicks guard JR Smith has received a ton of criticism for his playoff performance, and rumors started sprouting that he was out partying with Rihanna all night in an NYC club, which was what contributed to his off-game on the court.  Pictures actually surfaced of JR sweating while partying in the club with Rihanna just a few feet away from him.

Rihanna has since thrown some major shade at JR on Instagram while responding to a hater.  She called JR "thirsty" and claimed that "he f*ckin up cus his a*s be hungover from clubbing every night during playoffs."  Fans have taken this and spun the clubbing rumors out of control.

Well, after a while it's only natural to get highly annoyed with fans repeatedly hitting you up complaining that your sub-par performance is a result of partying with Rihanna. To remedy the slander that has been coming his way, JR posted a slick one-liner Instagram response to any hater trying to slay him for being in the club with the Bajan beauty.

According to JR, he's not even sure who people saw him in the club with.  The picture is hilarious, check it out above.

A Panamanian dude who definitely got his fashion queues from Mr. T is gnawing his way towards a Guinness World Record.

64-year-old Andres Gardin of Panama is looking to etch his name in the record books with his ability to shuck 500 coconuts in six hours.

Gardin has been practicing his skill since he was 11 and says he's shredded more than 100,000 coconuts.

"Peeling coconuts is not as easy as you all think," Gardin told a group of fans. "To peel coconuts, you've got to have jaw power. You've got to have teeth power."

Erica Dixon has been throwing rocks at Lil Scrappy's mom, "Mama Dee," and from the looks of it, Scrap has had enough.

Lil Scrappy posted a tweet this afternoon confirming his availability as a bachelor, and making sure everyone knows he's single. The tweet reads, "I'm not wit nobody y'all I'm single as hell so I'm telling u from my mouth."

Fresh off signing Chief Keef, Gucci Mane is giving no mercy. He released a track called "Birds of a Feather" earlier today, in which he takes shots at T.I., Yo Gotti, and of course, Young Jeezy. He also mentions in the song that he's still cool with Flocka, despite their parting ways.

Jail must be really getting to OJ, because it seems he's just reaching now for new possible ways to get out. According to Raw Story, OJ is trying to blame his lawyer for "botching" his situation and getting him convicted. His lawyer snapped back on Friday saying, "I told him to call the police!"

OJ was sentenced to 9 to 33 years in 2008 after a failed attempt to retrieve "stolen memorabilia." Simpson says not only did his lawyer know about his plan to retrieve the memorabilia, but he also failed to inform him of a plea bargain that would've gotten him out of jail much sooner.

Yale Galanter, the lawyer in question, said on Friday, "He told me that he finally had a lead on some personal items, some pictures and memorabilia that had been stolen from his house in California many years before," said Galanter in the hearing. "I told him to call the police."

Somehow, you have trouble feeling bad for him.

A California doctor has been publicly reprimanded by the state's medical board after he told a patient that oral sex was the best remedy for a sensitive gag reflex.

The patient, an unidentified woman, complained that the surgeon told her to practice oral sex on her husband "twice a week" prior to her upper gastrointestinal endoscopic procedure as a way of allaying the reflex.

The doctor, J. Peter Zegarra, made the suggestion in front of the woman and her husband "several year ago." According to CBS Sacramento, Zegarra had tried twice to expunge the complaint from the public record.

Michelle Obama has always kept it one hundred, and she didn't change her ways at all this weekend. While delivering the commencement speech to the class of 2013 at Bowie State University, Michelle touched on a number of issues, namely the priorities of young black americans.

"Today, instead of walking miles every day to school, they're sitting on couches for hours, playing video games, watching TV. Instead of dreaming of being a teacher or a lawyer or a business leader, they're fantasizing about being a baller or a rapper," said Obama. "Right now, one in three African American students are dropping out of high school, only one in five African Americans between the ages of 25 and 29 has gotten a college degree."

A man from Florida who did not want to become a father was arrested after tricking his girlfriend into taking an abortion pill. The pill ended up killing the baby she was carrying.

Blanca Francia, one of Michael Jackson's former housekeepers at the Neverland Ranch, will reportedly play a huge role in deciding if Wade Robson will win his civil lawsuit against MJ's estate.

Francia testified to seeing a 7 or 8-year-old Robson in a shower with MJ, though her evidence was that both their underwear were strewn outside the shower door. Francia said she couldn't see anything happening, but heard Michael laughing.

MJ was acquitted of the charges, partially due to Robson's initial testimony, in which he denied that Michael ever touched him. Wade is now arguing that MJ's businesses, MJJ productions and MJJ Ventures, should have been protecting him, since he was being recruited to work with Michael.

Francia is reportedly being contacted about this new case.

According to the gossip site TattleTailzz, Foxy Brown is starting some serious drama with the man who started her career, Jay-Z. In her accusations, Foxy came at Jay, Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, and even ex-Knick Larry Johnson.

Jimmy introduced Dr. Dre to say hello to the crowd halfway through. Dre got on the mic and yelled, "I am excited and I am proud to now be a member of the Trojan family. I would also like to say congratulations to the University of Southern California's Class of 2013."

"The Life Is So Exciting" tour by Pusha T and Fabolous made its way to the LA hotspot Club Nokia on Friday night, May 17th.  After Pusha's set had wrapped up, Fab brought out Cassie and Trey Songz to perform the remix to "Diced Pineapples".

Bill Collector chopped it up with Forbez DVD about his recent battle with Shotgun Suge and his past beef with Hitman Holla.  He feels as though he beat Suge 2-1, although the battle community seems to think otherwise.  He also spoke about whether or not he is still carrying a grudge against Hitman.

On Friday, May 17th, Illinois lawmakers gathered and agreed to legalize medical marijuana under a very strict plan.  The democratic Governor, Pat Quinn, has yet to state whether or not he'll sign the bill, but he has stated that he was "open-minded" when it comes to legalizing Mary Jane.  Former prosecutor and Lt. Governor Sheila Simon is in favor of passing the bill.  Apparently meetings with military veterans and sick patients helped her to come to her conclusion that medical marijuana is helpful in many cases.

According to the bill as it has been established so far, 60 dispensaries will be set up and regulated by the state, to which a patient may purchase up to 2.5 ounces at a time.  Physicians may only prescribe the herbal drug to patients that they already have a relationship with, and the patient in question must have at least one terminal illness or debilitating condition.  Of course background checks will be set in place.

Hopefully this doesn't influence an increase in violence in the Chicago area.

Kanye has blessed us with more new info about his new album. According to Rap-Up, the album will be released on June 18, and will be titled "Yeezus."

After whipsers about the album being "like the year 3000," and his elaborate "New Slaves" video premiere last night, it looks like Yeezy is setting everyone up for a huge album.

Overall, Kanye has kept the details minimal for this album, but maybe that's driving its appeal. Rumored collaborations on the project include Hudson Mohawke, Young Chop, Skrillex, and Daft Punk.

In a new interview with MGK, the Bad Boy rapper spoke to JENESIS Magazine about the abnormal lifestyle of his boss, Diddy. When asked what he would make Diddy do for one whole day if he could, MGK said he would make Diddy "feel like a normal person again."

Though he respects Diddy, the Cleveland spitter says he could never live the same lifestyle.

"I'd have Diddy in a mosh pit, man. I'd have Diddy come kick it at our house. With none of his people. None of his people, just him. Just come kick it at the crib and make him feel like a normal person again," said MGK. "You know what I'm saying?"

A tweet appeared from Amanda Bynes' account on May 4th claiming that she "f*cked @DrakeBell so many times on the Amanda show set oh god," that she's now claiming didn't come from her.  Drake Bell is a fellow Nickelodeon member from Amanda's days working with the network.

She tweeted on May 13th, after a fan brought up the topic of her previous alleged tweet, that she didn't actually write that.  Instead Amanda claims that the tweet in question popped up as a response to what she said about Drake (the rapper); however, she denies ever tweeting it.

Dipset rapper Freekey Zekey explains what happened with the long talked about Interscope deal and the Dipset reunion. Freekey also shares what's been going on with Cam'ron, Juelz and other members of the group.

Members of the group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony came up in the game with Eazy E, so the fact that he doesn't get the props he deserves is extremely bothersome to them. Bizzy Bone believes the lack of credit Eazy gets is due to the way he passed.

"Some people seem like they are afraid to commemorate him due to how he died. But Bone never once has--nor will stop--commemorating him," said Bizzy Bone.

Because of the reputation AIDS has as a "gay disease," the group thinks the Hip Hop community is afraid to idolize him. Krayzie even mentioned Big and Pac, claiming they get bigger props because of the way they died.

"They died being known as gangsta heroes. Eazy died from a disease...so many look at that differently," said Krayzie.

Chicago rapper Lil Mouse is accused of slapping and threatening to kill a 3rd grader at his school. The boy's grandmother spoke exclusively to Fox 32 about the situation, and says she wants to pack up and leave the neighborhood over the threats. 

Rihanna has been a loyal supporter of British retailer Topshop, going on luxurious shopping sprees and even hanging out with Topshop heiress Chloe Green. However, she may not be as fond of them now.

Rihanna is reportedly suing the retailer over a shirt, which features Rihanna prominently. Topshop says they bought the picture from the photographer, clearing them from any other artist licensing fees. Rihanna, of course, is begging to differ.

Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade made 18-year-old Nicole Muxo's dream come true when he accompanied her to her senior prom. Muxo had made a YouTube video asking Wade to her prom, and to her surprise he said yes! 

Wade said he felt obligated to go to the dance with Nicole after she had branded him the "perfect date." He showed up at her house to take pictures just like a typical prom date, which he posted to his Instagram page.

Deion Sanders ex Pilar is being sued by Capital One for failing to make payment on a $6,160.25 bill. According to documents obtained TMZ, Capital One has reached out to Pilar several times to pay the bill, but their calls have went unanswered.

Pilar and Deion have been locked in an intense legal battle during their divorce, and she reportedly wants a cut of his $250 million fortune. Deion was awarded custody of their two boys earlier this year, and is banking on their prenup holding up in court.

Mannie Fresh was excluded from the upcoming "Big Tymers" album, but he's got plenty of thing cooking himself already. Fresh is trying to put the finishing touches on his LP with Yasiin Bey (Mos Def), but every time they try to wrap it up, more opportunities arise.

"When I thought we were finished, anywhere we go we bump into cats like Just Blaze or whatever that are just like, 'Man whatever y'all need. We got y'all,'" Mannie Fresh told "RapFix Live."

Apparently, even T.I. and Curren$y are eager to lend their talents to the project as well.

"Anybody that Mannie was good to," said Fresh. "I thank God I've never burned no bridges with nobody when it's time for me to call in my favors, they're coming."

Juicy J was able to make the successful transition from Three 6 Mafia to life as a solo artist, but the "Stay Fly" rapper is talking about a possible reunion album. When asked if he would consider another Three 6 project, he replied truthfully and frankly.

"If they cut a check for $15-16 mil," Juicy told "RapFix Live," referring to their label Columbia Records. "It's really up to Columbia Records man. I feel like Columbia Records put that group on the shelf so it's their call when they wanna bring back the Three 6 Mafia. The contracts are still signed, the group is still signed with Columbia so it's really up to the label."

Even if Columbia isn't interested in a new album, that won't stop Juicy J from succeeding himself. His upcoming solo album "Stay Trippy" is one of the most highly anticipated albums of 2013.

Chief Keef is finally enjoying the spoils of a successful hip hop career, and the 17-year-old rapper from Chicago is also reportedly heading to the altar soon. Keef's fiancee is a model and stripper named Jamesha Thompson, who goes by the stage moniker Pretty Mesha.

The news of the engagement comes soon after TMZ reported that Keef has been ordered to pay $2,600 in child support and $500 in daycare expenses to his 15-year-old baby mama.

Roy Williams, Kelly Rowland's ex-fiance and former NFL player, was being accused of beating the pop superstar after she dropped her emotional single "Dirty Laundry." In the song Kelly sang about being in an abusive relationship.

A drunk man in Jilong, Taiwan reportedly used a pair of scissors to cut off his own penis and testicles during an argument with his girlfriend, according to Chinese newspaper Kwong Wah Yit Poh, as translated by the The Toronto Star Online.

The 46-year-old man then reportedly flushed his wiener and balls down the toilet before his girlfriend rushed him to the hospital. By the time he arrived, he had fallen into a coma due to blood loss.

Doctors said that had the man not flushed his dong, they likely would have been able to reattach it, according to Big Globe News.

With 1.2 inches of penis left, the man is reportedly still able to urinate. He has reportedly emerged from his coma and is expected to recover.

Next time he gets in an argument, he won't be so cocky.

Michael Maxwell,19, chose the wrong house to rob when he recently tried to break into a Palm Beach, FL home. Maxwell and his 17-year-old accomplice got a serious beat-down when entering a home that they allegedly planned to rob. 

According to Police, Maxwell and three others pulled up to the home in a 2004 Chevy Malibu, and when they stormed into the home they got quite the surprise when the owners fought back. According to TMZ, Farrah was house hunting this weekend in The Oaks in Calabasas - a very exclusive gated community that's home to folks like Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, Romeo, and Keyshawn Johnson, among others.

One of the homes that the teen mom really liked was a 4,851 square-foot mansion with 5 bedrooms, 6 baths, and a $3,299,900 price tag.

It's unknown if Farrah has already made an offer, but with the cash she earned off her sex tape, she could definitely afford a down payment.
