Following Wednesday's shootaround before Milwaukee defeated Miami, LeBron James openly debated as to whether he would participate in this year's NBA slam dunk contest.

"I have thought about it before and a few times in the past I kind of had an ankle injury that kind of kept me out of it and a couple of times I was just like, 'You know what, I'm going to go in here and rest my legs for this weekend and then get back to the regular season. But, I mean, they say a lot of the greats have done it and I've watched it over the years. I don't know, I'll be on the fence every year about it," James said. "It's always a fence year for me. I know they're getting tired of me, though, so I'm not even going to start up nothing."

If LeBron were to join in on the contest it's debatable if he would bring anything that no one had ever saw on the court before, which brings the excitement each year. In the 30 years running of the contest, almost every dunk has already been executed.

After being voted in as a starter for the NBA All-Star Game, Blake Griffin admitted he doesn't plan on defending his slam dunk contest title.

"As of right now I don't plan on being in it," Griffin said. "Those dunk contests aren't my thing, I said that last year. There's a lot of guys that can put on a great show and do some good stuff."

Last year the guy won the contest, played in the All-Star Game and balled in the Rookie Challenge. 

"Last year was hectic and it kind of made it unenjoyable. So this year, we'll see what will happen, but I will try to tone it down a bit and get a break instead of being so busy," Griffin said.

A boozy sailor who walked into the wrong apartment in Bremerton, Wash., urinated on the floor and then climbed into bed with an elderly woman won't face criminal charges, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff's office.

21-year-old Dalton C. Pierson was drinking and playing video games at a friend's apartment early Sunday when he left and mistakenly walked into a neighbor's home.

Deputies were called by the woman's son, who said Monday that he awoke to see a stranger peeing "all over the floor". As he got up to investigate, he heard his mother cry out. Evelyn Whitney said she had been asleep when the stranger entered her bed. She screamed and asked him what he was doing.

Pierson answered, "Passing out."

A rep for BET told TMZ that the video's risque imagery along with the explicit lyrics were too much for the network. However, the ban is sure not to hurt the popularity of the video, as it already has over 20 million views since it debuted on January 20.

Mannie Fresh has been busy producing the G.O.O.D. Music compilation, which he hints may have opened up doors for him at the label. However, Manny has obviously been burned in the past by labels, so right now he's just focusing on making the best music possible since he's career is skyrocketing again.

Mannie recently sat down with HipHopDX to discuss possible ventures with G.O.O.D. Music in the future and Kanye's Cash Money past.

Here are some highlights from the interview:

DX: Another producer you inspired that I didn't even know you had inspired until recently is the guy who can be heard calling you "the best producer" during Episode 6 of the behind the scenes of the Watch The Throne Tour. What did you think when Kanye West bestowed you with that crown?

Mannie Fresh: Like I said, for the right people to acknowledge you, you know you done something. It ain't about your numbers; it ain't about none of that. Somebody like Kanye West, [who's] on top of his game right now, to acknowledge you, to give you that love like, "Yeah, I think dude is that dude," I can't tell you what that means.

DX: [Laughs] A little history question here: Is it true that Kanye tried to get on with Cash Money before he got down with Roc-A-Fella?

Mannie Fresh: Yeah, he did. And that's how far we go back. It's a blessing when you are good people. When Kanye first came around, I let him use my equipment. I didn't know him from a can of paint. I just thought he was a talented dude. And I was like, "Here dude, you can use my MPC, my keyboards, whatever you need to do." And that came back around by him reaching out right now.

He told me one of his stories [from when he was at Cash Money Records], he was like, "I called back home and I was like, 'Dude, I'm using Mannie Fresh's equipment, y'all a never believe this.'" So it's like I said, you never know who is gonna be that guy.

DX: Do you remember what happened there, why that didn't work out ...?

Mannie Fresh: It was more of like Kanye knew back then what he wanted, the situation that he was looking for and all of that. The dude, Mikkey [Halsted], stayed. Mikkey [ended up] signed to Cash Money, but both of them came together. Kanye came as Mikkey's producer and they was trying to sign together.

I remember Kanye playing some songs, some of the songs which are now classic songs that was on Jay-Z's [The Blueprint] album. And I was like, "This dude has something. What he's doing right now, that's gonna be something." And, I don't think Cash Money's [founders] – [Birdman] and Ronald didn't hear that. I'm like, "Dude, this something new, this something different."

DX: Going back to that [tour] clip, you're seen in there giving a nice little motivational speech to the G.O.O.D. Music fam. So does this mean you're officially G.O.O.D. Music in-house yourself now?

Mannie Fresh: Well, we working that out. I'm kind of funny about signing with people. Dude, I've been through so much. And I'm not saying I think Kanye is a bad person, but I can't tell you what that is right now. It's really on me, and what space I'm in. I'm not saying that I wouldn't do it, but it's gotta be something that makes sense for me.

TMZ recently broke the story that Pilar Sanders filed an emergency motion in Texas, claiming Deion is holding her as a "financial hostage", only offering to give her cash in exchange for X-rated activities.

In the document, Pilar claims, "Since [Deion] filed for divorce on December 21, 2011, he has given [Pilar] $300.00 and offered her money in exchange for sexual favors."

She then notes, "Pilar turned down the money."

Pilar is begging the court to force Deion to give her money stat ... claiming "The children and I have lived in survival mode for several months, and the emotional toll on all of us is palpable."

Pilar also claims Deion has canceled her cell phone and has "engaged in a pattern of systematically removing my belongings from the house and haphazardly throwing them into piles in the garage of the residence."

Now, Deion says Pilar is lying through her teeth. Sources close to Deion tell us the accusations are entirely untrue, and claim the former NFL star recently sent her a cashier's check for $10,000, which PIlar rejected.

Her lawyer says she refused the money because it was only "partial payment" towards a prenup - a prenup she believes in invalid.

Apparently Pilar was only promised $1,000,000 in the prenup, but Friedman believes she's entitled to millions more, saying, "The offer does not reflect the assets in the estate and does not account for the time, effort, devotion, and faithfulness Pilar has invested in the marriage."

A close adviser to Deion said: "Pilar has continued to make false statements in an attempt to extort additional money, in spite of the generous pre-nup that she voluntarily signed. Deion is going to allow a judge to resolve this privately, then he looks forward to setting the record straight publicly at the appropriate time."

Roseanne Barr, of the self-titled sitcom fame, is considering a go for the presidency of these United States. The comedienne is officially pursuing the Green Party's nomination. Seriously. 

On the outside of the Democratic and Republican party rests Barr and her third-party laurels. So what are her causes? Well, she wants the 99% to power her campaign and she's also developing a new sitcom with NBC called 'Downwardly Mobile' about life in the mobile home community. So, it is our understanding that she wants equality for all citizens.

According to her tweets, she also is campaigning for the following: to forgive all student loans, homeowner debt and credit card debt, kicking out the Federal Reserve, institute single-payer health care, changing the American diet from meat protein to nut protein, and the list goes on.

No one is sure why they did it, but according to reports two teens broke into Atlanta's CNN newsroom and well, just checked their Facebook pages. 

Though there was likely another motive for breaking into the building, police caught the two kids around 3:30 AM on the fifth floor of the building.

Each teen is being charged with a misdemeanor for breaking into the building and using the computer.

Unfortunately, they never got the status out due to their arrests.

Ever since Maino released his track, "I Still Love You," rumors have been flooding the internet that the song is dedicated to fellow New York artist Lil Kim. In actuality Maino says he wrote the song to clear his conscience, which he revealed to Rap Radar.

"I think people are taking it way out of context. You know when you have relationships with certain people, you may have real genuine love for them but you just can't f*ck with them. Fans were puzzled when Wiz announced the title of his album last year. Now, the Pittsburgh emcee chops it up as to what, exactly, O.N.I.F.C. means.

"It's the Only N-Word in First Class," said Wiz, revealing what the acronym stands for during an interview on Shade 45's "Sway in the Morning" radio show.

The title comes from Mobb Deep member Prodigy's 2000 debut Head Ni**a in Charge. "It's inspired by Prodigy's H.N.I.C.," added Wiz. "When he dropped that, I felt like that sounded so strong."

But O.N.I.F.C. also addresses the racism he's encountered while traveling through airports. "I was just talking about me being a young rich dude and being black," he explained. "It looks crazy to them when I walk up to them and show them my ticket or I'm going in priority seating, They're like, 'You're sure?'"

Despite his fame and success, he still can't ignore the darker side of being a young black star. "It's a good feeling and then it's like a bad feeling because it's like, 'Damn, why do you feel like that about me,'" he said.

She says that despite the luxury that some may see it as, dating Kanye West is a heartbreak waiting to happen, because he's incapable of being faithful.

In her recent interview with the New York Post Amber revealed, "He is your typical rapper in the industry. He can't be faithful, and it's not just with one person. He's just unfaithful with a lot of different women. I got to the point where I thought, my heart can't take it anymore. I don't deserve this. I don't care when people say that I owe him my life because I'm famous now. I don't owe him nothing."

A London Woman, Atasha Graham, 34, died recently from a possible allergic reaction to her hair extension glue. The adhesive, when applied to her weave, left the faux-hair in good shape. But as the night wore on, her dancing, sweat and open pores allowed the chemicals to leak into her bloodstream, plausibly causing her untimely death.

Although the actual cause of death has not been confirmed, Pathologist Dr. Michael Heath acknowledged this is not the first time he's seen a death from extension glue. "There are about 10 to 20 deaths a year in this country, many more in America. I have seen four in the last three months," Heath responded.

This awful story may spark further movement towards natural hair among women.

When it comes to the rap world, Kendrick Lamar is not a dime a dozen. Few people at such an early stage in the game enjoy the kind of buzz that K.Dot generates. 

The rising star recently spoke with Billboard about his experience in the studio with another master of the game - Pharrell. 

"Pharrell really does this music like this is his first time in the studio. He still got that hunger," Lamar said. "He's one of the producers that pulls out his keyboard and pulls up the session and make a crazy beat right front of you. We knocked out six records in two days. Just by off the vibin' [and] creating from scratch. To hear all the music that he's making and reminisce [of] all the music that I love to listen to, he's making it right in front of me now is a crazy feeling."

K.Dot also mentioned he may work with A Tribe Called Quest emcee and producer Q-Tip.

Diddy marked a milestone in his oldest son's life, as Justin Combs signed on to play football at UCLA. Diddy and Justin's mom, Misa Hylton, were present at National Signing Day, along with both sets of Justin's grandparents.

Justin recently talked about the signing and what made him choose UCLA as his school.

"It was love at first sight. When I stepped on the campus, I knew I was going to be a player there. I knew I just had to get there."

Justin received a full Division 1 scholarship to the $54,000 per year school, where he will play cornerback for UCLA.

Diddy released a decision following Justin signing to UCLA, saying "This is everything a father could want for his son, for him to excel at what he loves to do and is truly passionate about. Justin is a shining example of what hard work, determination and a strong mentality can achieve. I am honored to call him my son and am happy that he is fulfilling his dream."

"From Rule's perspective, the world forgot about him and who he is as an artist. And from my perspective, the industry forgot about me. And in those truths, we found a synergy that felt supernatural at times, real sense of purpose like 'yo let's get em'. Anyone that heard the records and were a part of those sessions felt the intense creative energy in the room and knew we were on a mission."

We only hope the album lives up to this supernatural synergy.

It was the dunk heard around the world when Blake Griffin put one over Oklahoma Thunder's Kendrick Perkins during last night's game.

You would think that Perkins would be a little sore or heartbroken following the game, but it seems he has a healthy outlook on the situation.

"It happens. A the end of the day if you're a shot blocker, you're going to get dunked on. It was a great play that he made. Obviously I wish I wasn't in it, but it was a great play that he made."

It all happened in such a split second that neither Griffin or Kendrick could recount how exactly everything went down.

"It's the timing of the play, it's the timing of when I got the pass, and also the late rotation," Griffin said. "If all that comes together at the right time, then those thins happen. It's not like I caught the ball and thought 'okay, let's go make something happen.' It just came together."

Griffin knew it was huge when D'Andre Jordan came in with the congratulatory bear hug.

"(D'Andre Jordan's) reaction is always my gauge on what the dunk was like. I think that time he screamed, grabbed me and bear hugged me. I figured he thought it was cool."

Iggy Azalea has been on the scene for less than six months and she's already starting quite the buzz after first revealing that she's dating A$AP Rocky, and now that T.I.'s executively producing her debut.

The Australian native announced the news on MTV, along with the fact that T.I. actually reached out to her.

"T.I.'s gonna be helping me with it, kind of A&R-ing, kind of executive producing. He called me up like, 'Please?' and I was like, 'Definitely. You're Tip; I love you - of course.' So he's gonna be helping me out, just reaching out to people and helping me find production and pointing me in the direction of things that I might like...I'll probably fly out to Atlanta and we'll do it there because he's weird with traveling and stuff. I understand. See we're in touch with each other. I have legal issues [with immigration]; he has legal issues. I get it."

She also dished on the writing aspect of the album and finding the right direction with production.

"In terms of writing the record, that's not the part that really worries me; that's easy," she said. "It's finding the production and finding something cohesive that's right for the direction of the album. It could happen next week or I might go until the end of February and not find it. You just never know when you're gonna have that magic...If all goes to plan, my album will be out in June and I'll have it recorded by the end of the month."

The hip hop world doesn't exactly have a track history of being a friendly place for gays, lesbians, bisexuals or transgenders, so for a rapper to admit that they're something besides heterosexual takes an enormous amount of courage.

Azealia Banks is arguably the first rapper with a mainstream audience to actually come out of the closet. The 20-year-old emcee, labeled as "the next big thing" in the industry, came out as a bisexual in a new interview with the New York Times. Banks did it with very little fanfare -- just a couple of lines that appear near the end of the interview.

"Ms. Banks considers herself bisexual, but, she said: "I'm not trying to be, like, the bisexual, lesbian rapper. I don't live on other people's terms."

Though Banks has yet to release her debut album, (due later this year) she's already secured the adoration of some very influential people in music and fashion -- she's one of the five people Kanye West follows on Twitter.

More than anything it was just disappointing cause what kid isn't a fan of what Common has done for our genre. A guy who made such an incredible career for himself based off expressing genuine feelings about life and love is now targeting me for sharing my story.

There's a line from your "Stay Schemin" verse about Kobe's soon to be ex-wife Vanessa that has gotten some negative attention. Can you speak to what you were trying to express with that line?
That line came from a conversation about being this young and making this much money and the fear of losing it all. I just used his potential situation to address my own life. I never intended to offend Vanessa or anyone else. That line had everything to do with me and what goes on in my head as a 25 year old man with this much income flowing in. Kobe is and always will be a friend and an icon to me.

Jazz, who's father is NBA star Kenny Anderson, got "Faith Over Fear" above her ankle, and the aspiring rapper is already thinking of what she'll get tatted next.

"I want a tattoo of an inspirational quote on my back now....Let me stop though & give this 1 time 2 heal b4 I start thinking abt others. Love is Light or God is Strength...Something uplifting & meaniningful, like "faith over fear"...that relates 2 my life so much."
