Brick Squad Monopoly member Slim Dunkin was tragically murdered this past December 2011, and his death deeply impacted his fellow BSM family member Waka Flocka Flame.  According to what Flocka said during an interview with East Village Radio, Slim's death took a major toll on Flocka's ability to make music.  It apparently took the BSM rapper many months to get back on track and start recording in the studio again.

"What made me put my album out? My best friend Slim Dunkin died in December.  It took me two months after him passing away - not even two months. I didn't get over his death for four months. So it took me the fifth month after my friend lost his life for me to start my new album."
