Mayweather on 50 Cent: "He's Getting Involved in Boxing"

Before 50 Cent threw hits like "In Da Club" and "Candy Shop," he had a solid amateur boxing career going on in Southside Jamaica, Queens.
Now with his best friend Floyd Mayweather, it's possible 50 may start promoting fights, or even toss the gloves back on.
According to sources, 50 may be starting up his own promotion company, or maybe even going above and beyond and putting the gloves back on himself as well.
"As far as boxing I think he is going to be involved with the promotion side," Mayweather said in a conference call with XXL on Wednesday. "We might even have him fight on pay per view one time."
Mayweather is currently prepping for his upcoming May 5 fight with Miguel Cotto live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
"We don't know what the future holds, but he is getting involved with boxing."
