Lil Boosie Rap Lyrics to be Used During His Murder Trial

New Orleans rapper Lil Boosie is set to stand trial beginning on April 30th for a 2009 murder. New developments have emerged in the case, as presiding Judge Erwin has ordered an expert in rap music to provide testimony during the trial.

The expert will be brought in to clarify certain words and phrases in a Lil Boosie song which the prosecution requested recently.

The prosecution initially wanted to play one of Boosie's songs during the actual trial in its entirety, because they felt specific lyrics in a certain song provided possible hints and clues that would be pertinent to the matter at question.

In the lyrics, Boosie uses "187", "mirk", and "cake", all of which they claim is slang for when discussing murder and money.

No telling if this will help or hurt Boosie's chances.

First of all Boosie is from Baton Rouge. I don't think it fair to be able to trail someone on lyrics but the Louisiana justice system is one of the toughest in the country so go figure. It's a little to late to talk about the shouldve could've and wouldves. But fact is Boosie mainly rapped about killing and money and drugs. And claiming you are the reason the murder rate is so high, is def not a good look!! That's what the listeners loved about him. Including myself. I just pray that whatever the verdict is, he learns that being a real ni**a is not about what he rapped about. Being real is being true to fullest. If u did then take ur lick and if you didn't then I pray u make it out the wicked system. I hope to see Boosie on the streets of B. R. very soon
