Rapper Curren$y was in Dallas on Monday night to put on a performance at the House of Blues when he almost missed his chance.
Before he and other artists made their way to the venue, Spitta was apprehended by authorities for smoking marijuana.
Shortly thereafter, he took to Twitter to let his followers and fans know what went down by tweeting "Locked the CEO up, and I'm da CEO f**k".
He continued "Ni***z was jus chiefin and bumpin dat new fiend s**t.... Then some strangers came thru wit these bracelets that made my arms hurt..."
Fortunately, he was released and able to hit the stage and perform.
