Florida Hog Hunter Accidentally Shoots Girlfriend

52-year-old Florida hog hunter Steven Egan accidentally shot his girlfriend over the weekend, confusing her for a wild hog.
Cops said that Egan was hunting from a tent when he heard a noise that he thought was a hog. He shot at it, not realizing that his girlfriend was not in the tent with him.
He ended up shooting 52-year-old Lisa Simmons through both of her legs with a .30 caliber bullet. She was airlifted to a hospital where she is currently recovering from surgery.
Egan maintains his claim that he fired in the first place because he had seen a real hog just minutes before the shooting.
