It was recently reported that George Zimmerman's bond was set and granted at $150,000 and on Sunday, April 22nd, he was released from a Florida jailhouse.

Zimmerman left the jail with a blank stare on his face, revealing no emotion at all as he was escorted by another gentleman. The men got into a white BMW and driven off to a location which has been kept secret for Zimmerman's protection. He sported a brown jacket and carried a large brown paper bag.

Seminole County Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Lester, who was newly appointed to oversea the case, felt that Zimmerman was no imminent threat to the community, which is why he made the decision to grant bail.

28-year-old Zimmerman is charged with second degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. A trial date has not been set, and for now, George Zimmerman is a free man.
