Iggy Azalea Defends Her Album Title, 'The New Classic'

Iggy Azalea went on MTV's "Hip Hop POV" and was quick to defend the choice of title for her album, The New Classic.
She told MTV, "I think that people think of classic and they think of, like, a Nas record or a Jay-Z record or The Chronic," after she was criticized by the show's panelists for her album title choice.
"What makes something classic is when you hear it and you have that moment that is a time capsule, and you can remember what you were doing," she added. "When I say 'The New Classic,' I just want to make records that give you that moment for fans that they can remember where they were when they heard it."

I don't see it for this girl. She's uncomfortable in front of a camera, from the YouTube video I saw of her performing she has to get into character to rap. She's a good mimmic . The industry is so infatuated by big ass and long hair that people cannot see she is not talented. But numbers don't lie, so let's wait until her album drops

Iggy is alright but I don't see her going on to take over female rap like Kim did in the 90's and now nicki Minaj is taking over and almost done.. Iggy can rap but she just don't have it to take it all the way her album will not sell past the 20k mark believe me she just don't bring enough to the table all she brings to the table is looks & ass nothing much

I really can't believe people are really pushing this bs. I lost a lot respect for TI for doing the song "murder business" with her. If they want to promote her as a pop act and let her talk about horseshoes and blue moons that's cool. But to blatenly let her personify a stereotypical image is foolish to me. Let her be a model and teach her how to act. I blame the people around her. She not even that cold, I don't see it. Just another kreashawn
