Roots frontman Black Thought has done a lot to demonstrate his desire to help others in need.
On April 26, Black Thought and AllHipHop.com, along with their friends in sports and entertainment, will help raise awareness of the pressing issues faced by girls and women residing in Newark/Orange, New Jersey.
Black Thought and the WNBA's New York Liberty have put together a star-studded roster of supporters to raise funds and awareness for his GrassROOTS Community Foundation via the "Power Forward" Charity Concert, which will be held at Madison Square Garden on April 26. The doors for "Power Forward" open at 8 p.m. and N.Y. Liberty tickets will be included with the purchase of tickets to the event.
