Former Bad Boy rapper G. Dep is not going to speak on behalf of himself during his own trial for a murder which took place in 1993.
During the end of a hearing at the Supreme Criminal Court on 100 Centre Street in Lower Manhattan, New York on Friday the 13th, G. Dep declined the opportunity to testify before leaving the courtroom. His lawyer, Anthony Ricco, says that his client has already testified, referring to the taped video confession, which was recently unearthed.
Friday marked day three of the trial, where prosecutors continued their tactic of pointing out inconsistencies in the evidence.
