Young Man Sentenced to Three Days in Jail for Sagging Pants

Twenty-year-old LaMarcus Ramsey made the mistake of showing up to Alabama's Autayga County Circuit Court this past Tuesday (4/10) with his pants sagging way below his waste. His pants were sagging so low that his underwear was showing in full. Even though this is a style that many individuals choose to wear these days, Circuit Judge John Bush was having none of it.

Ramsey was initially in court to submit a plea deal on a charge of receiving stolen property, but when Judge Bush saw how low his pants were, he ordered Ramsey to serve three days in jail and to go buy pants that fit him properly. Ramsey was officially jailed for contempt of court for wearing saggy pants in public.

Here's what Judge Bush had to say to Ramsey:

"You are in contempt of court because you showed your butt in court. You can spend three days in jail. When you get out you can buy pants that fit, or at least get a belt to hold up your pants so your underwear doesn't show."

Now, that has to be one of the worst reasons in history to spend time behind bars.

yeah ok, but i bet this judge has no problem with older white dudes that wear daisy dukes out in public. you know the type, legs be all hairy and rhe shorts are tight and barely as long as boxers. or the white women that wear stockings like they are leggingd and show everything underneath, or the white chicks that wear shirts with no bras. do the shit equally. we are always looked at extra hard for some reason.....

mom dukes taught me to always dress apropriate for weddings,funerals,and court dates. even when somebody stole my property and i took em to court, i dressed nice. i dont get how people show up to funerals in rip tes and bandanas. have some respect and self actualization.

He got treated according to his appearance, can't say I think that was unfair. It's unfair when I (or in this case the court room) have to see clowns being feminine advertising their butts to the public and possibly other undercover down low men. I remember back in the day they would at least try and cover the underwear with a long shirt. Now it's like they do it on purpose, "Here's my ass if anyone wants a piece!". Grow the %&$# up smh.
