Knicks Want JR Smith To "Pull Shorts Up"

NBA baller JR Smith has moved on and has a new area code, as he now plays for the Knicks. Unfortunately, his immaturity followed him too. Knicks interim coach Mike Woodson has had enough, and he expressed that his guard needs to carry himself in a more professional manner.
Smith was fined 25k by the League for his flagrant two fouls on Indiana Pacer player Leandro Barbosa. He was immediately ejected, but yesterday the NBA reversed decision to just one flagrant foul.
Smith's poor body language, his sagging of his shorts and his lack of professionalism were some of the things Head Coach Mike Woodson brought up in conversation with the player.
"I told him I'm going to continue to coach him as long as I'm coaching the team," Woodson said at the Thursday morning shootaround at Amway Center. "I told him I'm not going to let him off the hook. I want his shorts pulled up. I want him to look presentable. Be a professional. That's what it's all about.''
A popular trend with today's youth, Smith likes to wear his shorts well below his waist, exposing even his underwear at times.
Fitting in with his new squad hasn't been the smoothest of transitions for Smith, which is oftentimes apparent in his actions and play on the court, and that's something Coach Woodson addressed as well.
"On and off the court. On the floor I want him to be happy when he's playing, feel good about himself. When things go bad, I don't want that look on his face that the world is coming down on him. We make mistakes and we miss shots. It's OK.''
JR Smith is no stranger to controversy and he has had his fair share of issues in the past. This past March he was fined $25,000 for posting a nude picture on twitter of Joe Budden's ex boo Tahiry.
