Similarly to what Lil B is planning to do for the students at NYU, Chicago native and rapper Common recently lectured a group of 800 students at Ohio State Univertsity. He kicked a freestyle for the audience before he started on his words of encouragement. He called his speech "One Day It'll All Make Sense".
"Finding your path is one of the best things you can do. Once you find your path, that is only the beginning. You have to believe in your path, and you will believe in yourself."
Common continues to drop knowledge at colleges, much like Bun B and GZA, who've also held lectures at certain universities.
