No matter what anyone says or hopes Rihanna will do, she has made it crystal clear that she will absolutely not end her contact with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. The management team at Jay-Z's Roc Nation have been advising her to halt the contact with Chris, but she has openly defied their wishes.

Her first major act of defiance against Roc Nation came when she recorded two songs with Chris Brown not too long ago.  One of the songs, being her "Birthday Cake Remix", is a very sexual song in nature, and on the remix she and Brown pretty much sing back and forth about how badly they want to be intimate with one another.

A source close to her and Roc Nation spoke to the New York Post about the situation between her and Roc Nation stating, "Her management banned her from reuniting with Chris, but she said she'll do whatever the hell she wants to.  She says they have been working her too hard and she wants some time to herself.  They fear she'll secretly record an album with Brown, just to defty them."

Rihanna, who recently did a photoshoot for the cover of Elle magazine's May issue, opened up about the topic of her and Brown, and how she is an independent woman, free to do whatever she wants.

"People ranting on blogs and stuff are just wasting their time.  I'm still going to be the same person.  I'm still going to do what I want to do."
