For all of those who never got the chance to tune into VH1's Couples Therapy to see the wild tension and high level of dysfunction between DMX and his wife Tashera Simmons, here is what you missed. Tashera recently had an interview with The Jasmine Brand, where she discussed the amount of verbal abuse DMX brought upon her during the show, and their relationship in general. She claims that at the time she was not even aware of the language he was using, but rather focusing on what she says were "lies" that DMX was trying to tell about her.
"... I was speechless watching when X cursed me the hell out. At that time, when it was happening, I was so busy worried about the lies he was making up, that I didn't realize how he was talking to me. But actually watching it, I realized that I've been immune to that talk all of these years, and I realized that I was in a verbally abusive relationship. I was just shocked, and embarrassed."
