An enhanced version of the police surveillance tape showing George Zimmerman being led out of a police car after he shot Trayvon in Sandord, Florida, shows images that could possibly benefit, or hurt Zimmerman in the case.  The video was allegedly enhanced by Forensic Protection, Inc, and it was released to the public on Good Morning America earlier today (4/2).

Many people feel as though the video might have been tampered with to show images that aren't really there but either way, the video helps, but at the same time serves as a negative for Zimmerman.  Images of the back of Zimmerman's head show marks that could be cuts or bruises.  Zimmerman claimed he suffered a broken nose and was beaten on the back of his head during his alleged fight with Trayvon Martin, which is what lead to him shooting the teen.  However, those "marks" could have already been there, or it could have just been his skin wrinkling when he bends at certain angles.

One thing that can be noticed from the enhanced film aside from the marks on the back of his head, which could have already been there prior to the Trayvon shooting and alleged fight, is the fact that Zimmerman had no visible signs of a broken nose directly after the fight.  His nose was not bleeding, he had no blood stains on his shirt, no facial bruising around his nose region.  So in essence, his self-defense story is not adding up and has a lot of holes in it.

One witness came forward saying that Zimmerman was fighting with Martin, while another said that Zimmerman was following Trayvon and Trayvon never even attempted to engage in a violent altercation with him.

Another telling sign that Zimmerman's self-defense story is suspect, comes from the observations made by funeral director Richard Kurtz.  Mr. Kurtz noted and stated that he saw absolutely no visible signs on Trayvon's dead body that he had in fact fought Zimmerman or anyone at all, at the time of his death.

"We could see no physical signs like there had been a scuffle, there had been a fight.  The hands - I didn't see any knuckles, bruises or what have you. And that is something we would have covered up if it would have been there.  The story does not make sense, that he was in this type of scuffle, of fight.  I didn't see any evdience that he had been fighting anybody."

Trayvon's mother Sybrina Fulton believes this new video will be highly beneficial for their efforts to seek justice for what happened to their son.  She stated on the Piers Morgan show:

"We just looked at the video and we were just surprised because according to the police report, he sustained injuries, but when we looked at the video, it was obvious that there were no visible injuries. [there was no] blood on his shirt.  I believe that this video is the icing on the cake."
