Drake Leaning Towards Posthumous Aaliyah Collabo

Drake has made it well known how big of an impact late singer Aaliyah had on his young career. Not only did he use the sampling of one of her songs on his debut album, "Take Care", he even went as far as tattooing a picture of her face on his back.

Now, the Toronto emcee may be hinting towards a possible a posthumous joint effort involving Aaliyah's music which he discussed during an extensive interview with Time Westwood.

"I have some great Aaliyah news coming soon. Some special things. Just some special things, you know. Great things for music, period."

Drizzy then spoke on Aaliyah's type of music.

"I think more than anything Aaliyah always made music that was never uncomfortable for me to listen to."

"You know it's hard for me to ride around to a female singer because at the end of the day, you're a man, but she always kept it so G with the writing and the melodies. It was something to ride to, especially when it was chopped and crewed. That's when I used to love Aaliyah the most."

We'll see what Drake comes up with.

I also get those days when i need to listen to aaliyah it just makes me wonder why such a beautiful angel. She would definitely be impressed who else is remembering her? Go Drake!!!

Aaliyah was the bomb tho me n drake about the same age and I had a serious crush on her too...I still bump her music too...it's hard to let go of someone u liked so much and who really is unparralled talentwise....there were whispers about unreleased music...not sure about her n DRAKE...but at least he's keeping her name relevant
