Many Celebs Band Together To Support Trayvon Martin

The seemingly senseless, merciless and unwarranted shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin has left the nation in an uproar. Many have since banded together to support the Martin family after their son was tragically shot down and killed by neighborhood watch officer George Zimmerman.

Just this past week, thousands of Americans participated in the Millions Hoodie March across the nation - the hoodie is symbolic because it was what Trayvon was wearing when he was killed, and was the primary reason for Zimmerman suspecting him of conducting illegal activity. Also, recently an entire Miami high school student body walked out of class as a sign of protest for Trayvon, and the fact that Mr. Zimmerman has yet to be arrested for shooting the young boy.

President Obama has even addressed the issue and stresses that the matter be further investigated.

Many celebrities such as P. Diddy, Jamie Foxx, Ludacris, Nelly, The Dream, Frank Ocean, Swizz Beatz and many others have posted up pictures of themselves wearing hoodies to show their support for Trayvon's family.

When will you guys realize that this has nothing to do with race? A white man shot a black kid, yes; but not because of his race. The man profiled the kid and labeled him as up to no good. People need to learn to not be so quick to judge others. That is what the hoodies are about. To this man, a hoodie with the hood up, jeans and sneakers are what a no good teen wears. What should matter right now is that justice needs to be served. That man needs to be charged, arrested and pay for what he's done.
