Cops Who Killed Sean Bell Stripped of Their Badges

A lot has been said in regards to the Trayvon Martin killing, and much more will continue to be talked about as that case is far from over.

But a more heinous act of violence occurred back in 2006, when four New York City police officers shot and killed Queens native Sean Bell on his wedding night of all nights.

The four cops who were involved in the shooting will be kicked out of the department, said the NYPD.

Detective Gescard Isnora, who was the first to fire his weapon, was found to be in violation of NYPD guidlines as he fired his weapon while still posing as an undercover officer. He will not receive a pension or health benefits for his role in the incident.

Detective Michael Oliver, Detective Marc Cooper, and Lt. Gary Napoli were the other officers involved and were able to negotiate plea deals with the department to resign, which will allow them to retain their pensions and other benefits.

Sean Bell's father, William Bell, says:

"It really don't matter. They still have lives. Pension or no pension, they're still walking around, they'll get another job. My son doesn't have a chance to start over again."

The officers were all acquitted in court back in their 2008 trial.

Not true no one intenstionally does that the officers should have not lost their jobs and all of them should be entitled to their pensions. they are risking their lives for people and need to shoot even if it may not seem right in order to protect themselves and others. even if a person didn't have a weapon there must have been other things that he did or did not do what he should have. you weren't there to know. No one shoots people just like that. It is a dame shame that one officer or detective should be stripped of his pension badge etc. May people are shot or killed in order to defend one's shelf it is unfortuate that that happened but the officers should not lose their jobs or pensions people should fight for them to be reinstated. There are so much other things that officers may do illegally and this was to protect themselves. You are a disgrace to speak like that it shows what kind of person you are not a good one. Most black young men are dangerious to society and therefore, people are causious towards them. Not to say that there are a lot of black men who are good by standing people. Grow up and see the truth in the matter.

Think not that God do not heed the deeds of wrong doers he just give them respite for a time appointed. After that, nobody will be able to help them. therefore wait,God is waiting !

The said thing is, even if these cops COULD get the death penalty, a cop would NEVER get the death penalty. And its a shame that if someone kills an officer, its like killing some type of GOD, you get more time. Cops are just regular ass people who have a bad attitude because they have power, and COPS are the people who always get bullied, never have gotten a ticket when they were young, and everybody hated them. I hate people.....

I am trying so hard to keep in mind that all Caucasians don't hate us, just some of them!!! But each day, it's getting harder and harder!!! I would be doing the same thing that they have been doing to us for a long time, and that's putting us all into one box!!! I think the shit is about to go down, especially if President Obama gets re-elected!!!

omg all this negative response we have going on this thread how bout the bottom line is someone son husband grandchild has no more life to live or wake up to its beyond color we have alot of successful black men n woman n millionaires at that treat with the utmost respect things happen and we cant explain why but the ugly i hear on this thread will only soon be a casualty in the future!
