Despite the strong accusations that Jeremih was lip-syncing during his 3 minute performance, before he was forced off stage by massive crowd "boos" and flying drinks, the singer is strongly defending the fact that he was actually singing.

According to Jeremih, he arrived 2 hours late for his scheduled performance because the crew wasn't ready for him to perform.  Apparently the crowd got restless and began chanting his name so the singer went on stage to perform anyway.

Due to a lack of adequate equipment supplied by the promoters, Jeremih says he was forced to sing over a very loud background recording of his own voice.  The recording was so loud, that the audience could not hear him actually singing live, and that's when the drinks started flying at him.

A bottle was even thrown at him with malicious intent, however Jeremih claims the bottle came soaring at him from an angry, jealous boyfriend, who's girlfriend, had just tossed her panties onstage to Jeremih.

Shortly after the bottle was thrown, he decided enough was enough, and he made his exit.
