Kid Cudi's rock inspired album WZRD took over this week's charts, selling 70,499 copies in its first week, which was nearly 50% more than projected.

Last week Cudi took to his Twitter to vent about his displeasure with his label not shipping out enough copies of the album, but it seems his attitude was turned around after albums began flying off the shelves.

He tweeted, "Not too bad. Not too bad at all. No major promo, no single on the radio, no music video. Just the music. All for the music. That's really special."

ThisBeatGoes already indicated that WZRD is the only album projected to sell over 15,000 copies this week, which isn't surprising seeing as how it debuted at No.1 upon its iTunes release.

Major congrats go out to Cudi!
