Tyrese's desire to collaborate with Amber Rose, after she expressed her want to make an album, painted a target for a good old fashioned prank on his forehead.
Actress Amber Tamblyn of "Joan of Arcadia" fame, saw an opportunity and she took it. Tyrese contacted her after noticing a woman named "Amber Rose" in an email group he was in. She responded by playing the role of Amber Rose, and sent him a few vocal "demos" that she recorded on her iPhone.
""Tyrese Gibson (of "Fast and Furious" and "Transformers") saw my name cc'd on an email that a mutual friend sent out and thought I was the model ex-girlfriend of Kanye West, Amber Rose. (My middle name is Rose and my email adress (sic) is registered as Amber Rose). I've never met Tyrese before. He pulled my email addy (address) from that cc list and emailed me wanting to work on an album together. So I recorded my demos on my iPhone and sent them to him. I guess you could call them Awareness Raps?"
Tyrese, however, quickly realized that the woman in the demos was not the Amber Rose he was looking for and respectfully wished her the best with her career and left it at that.
At least he has a sense of humor towards these kind of things, many other artists would have gotten very upset at the joke.
