Overnight sports superstars Tim Tebow and Jeremy Lin have a lot in common as they both have sprung forth into the public spotlight, literally within a 24 hour time frame.
NFL quarterback Tim Tebow experienced instant fame by bringing the Denver Broncos back from a major losing streak, and eventually leading them to a playoff run. His religious pose that he often does at games after scoring touchdowns, where he kneels down on one knee and prays, has also skyrocketed his fame.
Jeremy Lin, while he doesn't currently have a trademark pose, does have an array of fan-created name flips that have helped boost his fame to international levels. Name flips such as "Linsanity" and "Lincredible" have become a major part of the Jeremy Lin craze.
Tim Tebow recently spoke to the New York Post about his current friendship with Jeremy Lin:
"He's a good guy and very humble. We talk a lot on the phone because I know what he's going through and I've been giving him some advice. He's handling it pretty well and staying focused."
