The divorce from Russell Brand has been very hard for Katy Perry to adjust to. She has remained strong in the public eye, however she has yet to be seen out and about with any new potential suitors. Many may feel as though this is acceptable behavior given the fact that she only recently spit from her ex-hubby, however those close to Katy don't want her wasting her time and stay single for too long.
According to a close source to Katy:
"Katy has been very upset about the divorce. She never expected it to end and now she's dealing with the aftermath. But her friends are telling her to get back out there and date. They don't want her to waste time being upset over Russell."
Another source close to Katy commented on the fact that she and Rihanna are good friends, and that Rihanna is determined to help Katy stay positive and move on.
"Rihanna wants to help Katy in any way she can... She is telling her that she'll start setting her up too!"
