Vlad, I hope that you weren't the one that personally came up with this list?

Wow no Elijah Muhammad, Marcus Garvey, Noble Drew Ali, Huey Newton, Louis Farrakhan, Booked T. Washington, Don Cornelius, Medgar Evans, Dr. Betty Shabazz, Kwame Ture, Khalid Abdul Muhammad, H. Rap Brown on this list. Might as well add Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Tyga, Beyonce, etc to this bullshit list.

This gotta be a joke, I think Marcus Garvey should be on, and I think Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali should be further up the list...

All lists are flawed. They get you speaking about the topic. I thought Marcus Garvey should be there.

we really need to stop under estimating ourselves as young black muscians....I always maintained a certain level of consciousness in regards to black leaders but its people like Chuck D,Krs-One and even Ice Cube and Tupac that created a whole lot of awareness to the people u mentioned. No disrespect to any of them but dont sell short the influence that help mold our generation........nuff respect to Chuck D and Public Enemy for makin us take a closer look at these people..before them, our generation hardly cared...........

BLACK HISTORY IS AMERICAN HISTORY..AMERICA WOULD NOT BE WHAT IT IS TODAY WITHOUT BLACK PEOPLE AND THE CONTRIBUTIONS WE MADE. THEY CAN TRY AND OMIT OUR HISTORY AND HERITAGE BUT THE FACT REMAINS WE HELP BUILD THIS COUNTRY.
