North Carolina-based rapper Petey Pablo had an unfortunate start to this year, as he reported to a medium security federal correction institution in West Virginia.

Pablo was arrested after he tried to smuggle a gun through an airport on September 11 of all days, but turned himself in on January 4 to start his sentence.

TMZ obtained court documents from Pablo's case, which revealed that he will receive "intensive substance abuse treatment, vocational training and educational opportunities" while in prison.
