A lot of people have expressed varying feelings towards the YMCMB label as of late. With their recent signings of Limp Bizkit and so many other known artists, maybe people just feel jealous that their empire is expanding so much.
G.O.O.D. Music's Cyhi Da Prince took to Twitter on February 24th to share his views on the YMCMB family, and his words have been interpreted as a major diss:
"To me YMCMB is mid and Rocafella/GoodMusic is kush you sell more pounds of mid but which one would you rather smoke #imjustsayin."
His tweet clearly does seem to be taking a few shots at the Young Money label, however Cyhi carries no ill will aimed at Young Money, and since his tweet has been noticed by so many as insulting, he returned to his Twitter to set the record straight.
"Wow I didn't know that tweet went that far... I didn't realize I was that popular. Y'all do know it's more richer hustlers selling mid than kush so I wasn't trying to diss nobody"
At least the air is clear now that Cyhi set the record straight.
