You would think that when a legendary singer such as Whitney Houston passes on to another life, people would show some common courtesy and address the matter with compassion and sensitivity.
Apparently, radio L.A. radio hosts John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou of the "John and Ken Show", didn't get the memo. The following remarks were made about the recently deceased Whitney Houston, and are far beyond inappropriate and insensitive - they're very cruel:
"She's a crack head for 20 years and we heard about how obnoxious she was at these parties and she's doing hand stands, babbling like an idiot and running around....it's bag lady time. She's been doing this for 20 years, blew through her money, ruined her voice....she was for practical purposes broke. So how much of a pain in the as* do you think she was? Can you imagine you're Clive Davis and she hasn't had her head screwed on right for 20 years, and at some point your just sick of it all and so is everybody else.....Here comes the crack hoe again, what's she gonna do....after a while, everybody's exhausted and then you find out she's dead it's like really....took this long?"
Personal issues aside, she was a legend and should be remembered as such. The two radio hosts have been suspended until February 27th. The two have released an apology for their harsh words following their suspension, but would they have apologized had they not been suspended?
Is this punishment too short considering the level of cruelty they directed at Whitney?
R.I.P. Whitney Houston. You were a legend that inspired millions.
