Dawn Richard has gone down a long road as a member of Bad Boy Records. She began her journey with Diddy and Bad Boy on Diddy's show, Making The Band 3, where she was chosen to be a member of Diddy's female singing group Danity Kane. When the band broke up Diddy signed her to be a member of his group: Diddy-Dirty Money.
After being a main player in recent songs released from Bad Boy, Dawn has announced that she is no longer a member of the label. Dawn commented on the split in an interview with Bossip, where the singer stated, "There's no drama. It was a business decision and one made amicably. And I thank him for that. Now I want to make him and them (Bad Boy) proud for believing in me."
Dawn is a great singer and songwriter and her future is a bright one. She will surely only develop into an even better artist from here on.
