In a rather expected story, according to Hollywood insiders, Indomina and BET have acquired the rights to LUV, a Common-starring Indie film.
The movie premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival where it garnered much critical acclaim. Its story reflects within many as well; "an ex-con trying to go straight who takes his young nephew with him on a business trip that inadvertently leads him back down the deadly path he's been trying to avoid."
Common also commented on the film to EW, "It begins with love, love coming from someone whose been through a lot of pain and struggle. He doesn't automatically see putting somebody in a situation like that to be as detrimental as it could be."
We're pretty excited for this movie as well.
