Arguably the hardest working man in the bizz, Samuel L. Jackson recently sat down with Ebony magazine in celebration of the Hollywood issue.
And well, as expected, he didn't just talk movies. Jackson skewed a little towards politics as well, employing his earnest reasoning as to why he voted for Obama.
"I voted for Barack because he was black," Jackson claimed. "'Cuz that's why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them. That's American politics, pure and simple. [Obama's] message didn't mean sh*t to me. In the end, he's a politician. I just hoped he would do some of what he said he was gonna do. I know politicians say sh*t; they lie. 'Cuz they want to get elected."
Kinda funny, kinda scary, kinda understandable and totally honest. We like it.
