Occasionally, when the planets align, greats get together. That, or a corporate (money) sponsor like Converse facilitates a deal with talent for the world to enjoy.

No matter the impetus, it's time to get pumped. Andre 3000, LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and Gorillaz are teaming up to produce a track called "DoYaThing."

According to Billboard, the track will be released on February 23rd to coincide with Gorillaz new Converse shoes. These three are among some of the best to collaborate for Converse including Kid Cudi, Soulja Boy and Andrew W.K.

We can't wait, but in the mean time check out what they had to say about each other, "It was literally akin to a bunch of kids playing with toys until someone else said, 'Ooh! I like that bit!'... Writing the lyrics was the funniest part... one person would be mumble-singing something and another would overhear him and ask, 'Oh... did you just sing...' I don't know... some crazy words that weren't at ALL what the guy was singing, and those new, misunderstood words could become the hook for a verse. I loved that about it," said Murphy.
