50 Cent is continuing to aggressively fight hunger in Africa with his Street Kings mission, and recently flew to the Southern region of Somalia to extend his patronage.
Fif flew into Dolow's Kabasa camp, where women and children were being screened for malnutrition after fleeing from drought and conflict. Fif commented on what he saw at the camp, saying "What I am seeing is devastating -- these women and children have risked everything to come to this Somalia camp, just to get food. They need our help."
After visiting the camp Fif made his way to a school in the Nairobi slum, where he was inspired by the optimism of the children, many of which were orphaned.
"To meet those kids was so inspiring, they have nothing, yet they are so positive and optimistic. I want to do my part so they get food and an education. I hope more people will join me to help end this devastating situation."
Fif started his Street Kings mission in September with the plan to provide 1 billion meals for the hungry in Africa. For every bottle of Street Kings that it bought, one meal will be provided for a person in need via the World Food Programme. The WFP provide nutritious meals and snacks to hungry people across the world, which helps to eradicate the growing problem in Africa.
