BBVA Rising Stars Challenge to Mix Rookies and Pros

This year's NBA All-Star game will be host to an unprecedented event. In 2012, instead of rookies playing sophomore players, the BBVA will sponsor a Rising Stars Challenge where both rookies and sophomores are mixed with tenured players. 

With Charles Barkley and Shaq at the helm as general managers of the contest, each will draft their own team for a nine-man roster. TNT's Kenny Smith will play as the honorary Commissioner. 

The BBVA Rising Stars Challenge Draft will be on Thursday, Feb. 16th on NBA TV @ 7 p.m. ET.
