Flo-Rida was recently branded a cheapskate by his former assistant Mahogany Miller, who claims the rapper paid her a paltry $3.08 per hour to do 65 hours per week of clerical work for him. However, Flo says the woman was never an official employee, and was hired on as an intern.

Flo-Rida says Mahogany wasn't qualified to work as an assistant, but begged him for a job to get started in the music industry. Being the nice guy he is, Flo took her in under his wing and occasionally paid her for food and gas for the work that she did.

An attorney for Flo-Rida says Mahogany was fired for "inappropriate behavior," but didn't go into detail of what that entailed.

TMZ recently caught up with Flo-Rida, who released a statement on the incident, saying "This is ridiculous that I gave someone an opportunity out of the goodness of my heart and now sadly I am being falsely targeted."
