Teen Mom star Amber Portwood was pictured in a prison jumpsuit and shackles today, just as she was sentenced to five years in the slammer.
The 21-year-old will avoid a long term behind bars if she is accepted and in turn participates in a court-ordered drug program. The reality star initially entered guilty pleas to one count of Class D felony possession of a controlled substance and one count of parole probation violation.
If she fails her program, Judge David Happe told Portwood she would be sent to prison to serve out her five year sentence.
